Linebacker Patrick Willis, injured early in a Week 13 game against the Rams, made his return against St. Louis. Willis (hamstring) started for the first time in four weeks and finished the game with four tackles.

Great that Willis got some work in, to get back into game shape, but I remain blown away that the team played him. Willis and many other Niners now have an extra week to get healthy - which is crucial given the late season injuries. The 49ers turnover ratio this year has simply been outstanding, and will be a key factor in the playoffs.
