How can the 49ers justify keeping Clements around this season for $15.2 million ($7.25 million base salary, $7.95 million reachable incentives)?

Extra Point:
I disagree that Clements needed to be a true shutdown corner. The Niners were desperate for a corner when they went after Clememts and everyone knew they over paid in a shallow market. More or less I think they got the player they should have been expecting. Whether or not Clements is still worth that money and whether the market or team situation is debateable though.
