Trading A.J. Jenkins wasn’t a gamble, and may be the easiest decision Jim Harbaugh ever makes. The next mistake could be another story.

Although I agree that the Jenkins mistake was more easily forgiven than any mistake like this likely would be in the future - I disagree with the notion that the next move will be any less easy to make. Baalke did make some blockbuster trade here, he found (or was sought out by) a team in a similar situation and worked to see if anything could be salvaged for all parties. I don't see why that could not happen again.
