San Fransisco Looks To Stay Strong In Week 12 by SBRForum.com

It was a massacre this past Monday night as the 49ers completely demolished a strong Chicago Bears team. Granted, both teams had backup quarterbacks in, but the Niners Colin Kaepernick clearly outshined the Bears Jason Campbell on this go around. …

One of the things the Niners need to dwell on over the next week is what quarterback they will start on Sunday if Alex Smith is healthy enough to play. He has been extremely solid over the past year and a half, winning 20 of the last 26 games he's started and should be able to lead the team to quite a few more going forward. Kaepernick, on the other hand, showed his break out potential as the head of the team on Monday against Chicago. He rushed the ball almost as well as he threw it on the day which helped the team even more throughout the matchup. This should be a question head coach Jim Harbaugh will weigh heavily over the coming days so he makes the best call possible to ensure a victory this week in New Orleans.

One thing is for certain. The San Fransisco 49ers are one of the main teams to beat not only in the NFC but all of football. They will have to pull out all the stops and prove it against the Drew Brees led Saints on Sunday, but they seem up to the task. While the team does look great, they can always slip up and get beat especially by a team with so much momentum going into the game like New Orleans. The Niners will need to stay sharp and make the right decision at quarterback if they want to win and cover the spread this week.
