Round 6A: 49ers find safety depth with Trenton Robinson



In the fifth round, the 49ers found depth at outside linebacker. In the sixth, they filled out their safety position with Michigan State’s Trenton Robinson, who likely will be penciled…

Extra Point:

Robinson will compete for a back up role at safety and perhaps cornerback. He's a good all around player with some injury history. As he adjusts to the NFL he could be an interesting prospect to watch because of his ability to play across the defense.
