Report: Smith happy with three-year deal 49ers have offered



In an interview with CBS5 reporter Kim Coyle Sunday night, 49ers quarterback Alex Smith said he’s happy with the three-year deal offered by the 49ers, that he isn’t seeking…

If Smith was truly happy with the deal, he would have signed it by now. That being said, right now it looks like Smith will at least see what the competitive numbers look like - and that likely will impact his readiness to sign with the Niners.
