Unless you have been living on another planet for the last few months, you are likely feeling the affects of social distancing. Missing people. Missing sports. Hoping for the best possible outcome.
Working with our friends at VidSig we are running a giveaway to get a free autograph session with Jerry Rice on May 28th via video conference (click here to enter the draw. I was fortuante enough to meet Joe Montana this way in January, you can see the video above (which yes, I got to keep!)
Now, if you can't tell by my fanboy gushing… I'm a bit a of Joe Montana fan. That's the understatement of the year, of course. I also can't believe how nervous I was for this experience. Joe was gracious and awesome to interact with, and for a fan living so far from the Bay Area this really was a dream come true. I rarely get the chance to interact with the team, let alone a childhood idol. Meeting Montana was definitely on my bucket list, but an item I never thought I'd get to do. Thanks to VidSig I had the opportunity.
The technology was simple, it worked on both web and an app on my phone, and let's face, who doesn't know how to video conference these days? The team at Vidsig was eager to make sure the experience was a success and helpful the whole way through - even offering some tips on how to make sure you are ready once the camera starts rolling (things move fast once you get up in the queue, so be ready!).
My video was ready for download very quickly, and soon after my prized autographed jersey arrived. I have to say, my 9ers collection will never be complete, but this was definitely a key missing piece. The price point was definitely fair for an interaction like this - and in fact cheaper than had I bought an autographed jersey on it's own. The keepsakes, the experience, overall, I'm still gushing.
This week Jerry Rice is on VidSig and not only do you have an opportunity to win a meeting with him (click here to enter the draw) but you can also purchase autograph sessions here for a fair price... get a photo or a ball or even just chat with the GOAT himself for a few minutes. Not a bad way to spend some time in this socially distanced world we are living in.
