Forty-five days after Brandon Jacobs suffered a knee injury, No. 45 is again ready for contact. Is the Bills' porous run defense ready to provide?… Extra Point:
We may recall this offseason, Jacobs told the media that he hadn't done squat exercises in years because the Giants felt it would increase the likeliness of injury. I happen to not believe that would be the case, and the 49ers do indeed encourage squat use, and Jacobs said this has made him a more powerful runner at this point in his career. All that being said... it is interesting that he was injured this year. I'm hoping Jacobs comes back and brings that extra something to the 49ers short yardage offense. The Bills could be the ideal candidate to step back on the field against.
