The 49ers are starting to make the mistakes that separate good and great teams. We have seen a bit of that all season. This week we saw missed field goals, two converted fake punts, and several bad penalties. The Rams saw something in the 49ers special teams unit that they thought they could take advantage of... and they did. The Niners need to start tying up these loose ends as they push for the playoffs.
