James gives the Niners a quick hit, home run potential running back who adds depth and insurance to Frank Gore. The move should help the team on third downs and in the redzone. The 49ers first two selections call into question the roster spots of Anthony Dixon, Brandon Jacobs, Tedd Ginn Jr, Kyle Williams, Rock Cartwright, and Perish Cox.
