FOXBORO, Mass. – Minutes after Sunday’s game, Colin Kaepernick was asked about his touchdown pass to Michael Crabtree. “Which one?” the quarterback asked earnestly. Indeed, Kaepernick threw two scores…
Extra Point:I'm yet to jump on the Kaepernick bandwagon... although I have been supportive, I had, until last night, seen really only one performance that was head and shoulders above what Alex Smith did (with the exception of a few irregular games). Granted Smith may have been playing with handcuffs, but there were many plays in this game that Kaepernick made that I'm not sure Alex would have, and he can put the ball anywhere on the field to do it. Beyond that, Kaepernick showed that he can be at or near an Alex level in terms of game management, and decision making against one of the top teams in the league, on a national stage, coming from behind after blowing a huge lead. This was a big game for Kap, make no mistake about it.
