BJ Daniels is realistically in the quarterback race, if for no other reason than the competition behind Kaepernick is week. The addition of Wallace (to my surprise), means the 49ers are really not happy with their back up quarterback situation. The team added some clarity to the receiver position by cutting Lockette, who still will be eligible for the practice squad. I had thought Lockette would have a tough time making the team despite his special teams ability - but this is further proof that Baldwin has a roster spot, at least until the 49ers need to activate Manningham or Crabtree.
