I think the lack of NFL is really starting to take an effect. We are now reporting on players staying in shape by working out. 20 years ago that may have been offseason news... Today it would be news if they were sitting home on a couch all day eating potato chip. These guys are professionals... The 90+ percentile of athletes. I would be amazed if they were not conditioning. I also happen to think the playbook is most important for QB and WR. Other positions have a shorter learning curve.
