Mt. Davis: 49ers hosting big right guard today



If all goes well, there could be a mountain of Davis on the right side of the 49ers offensive line by the end of the day. As 2011 starting…

The Niners are working to add some talent to their offensive line. Guard Adam Snyder is visiting the Cardinals and was decent in his time with the Niners. Chilo Rachal has yet to really pan out for the club. Leonard Davis signing would remind me of the Kevin Gogan signing, twilight of his career, big and nasty. If Snyder departs, this position will be highly competitive and Davis may not win it. Snyder's departure would also create a need for a back up center.
