Many of us were pulling for Cooper but the 49ers have too much at stake at corner this year. Unfortunately, that meant passing on a really decent player who could be a big help next year when these guys all have their contracts coming due. I don't know how the 49ers will field a defensive backfield and pay their big names next season. Cooper would have been a help with that.
