It amazes me that after all the Aldon love, the team just released him. I know he deserved it... 5 arrests is certainly a cause for concern... but was there really no trade value for one of the best pass rushers in the game? A 7th round conditional pick? In any case, the team is now left with the tall task of filling his shoes... and Aaron Lynch is likely the best positioned to do that. Corey Lemonier has yet to materialize, Eli Harold is still young, and while the likes of Ahmad Brooks are solid, we also know about where there peak performance sits. Yes my friends, this season is going to be one of fill-ins.
