The 49ers’ disappointing 2012 draft class lost another member Monday when LaMichael James asked for and was granted his release.

LaMichael James asked for, and was granted his release. James has been under utilized since he lost his play time to Hunter, and this year became expendable with the emergence of both Hyde and Ellington. What didn't click for James with the 49ers could very well elsewhere. By every regard he is a talented player who didn't get a shot.... or was unable to earn a shot in a clogged backfield.
