Kyle Williams returned his first punt at Candlestick Park since his infamous outing in the NFC Championship game Jan. 22. Williams not only fielded it cleanly, he returned it…
Extra Point:Williams played well fielding punts and as a receiver late in the game. Despite all the talk of Ted Ginn's great offseason it will be very hard for the team to look past Williams. Meanwhile other noteables from the game included Kendall Hunter, Brandon Jacobs, Perish Cox, and Eric Bakhtiari. Of the backup quarterbacks Scott Tolzien looked the most composed, and got the ball to the receivers quick and in-stride. Kaepernick had a crazy touchdown run. His athleticism makes him very interesting, but the poise of Tolzien was not something I expected. Now... adjust for non-first string players and you may have a different story. The coaches will have some very hard decisions to make at QB, WR, RB in particular.
