The truth is, if we can see a team that isn't getting flagged of blowing assignments that would be a good indication that the players are getting up to speed quickly. 2) Play calling. This is sort of that draft smokescreen argument. Why would you want to reveal your hand? On the other side of the equation - don't you want to see if your guys can execute what you are training them to do in camp. I hope that Harbaugh's coaching staff can find a happy middle. Not be vanilla, but be creative enough that opponents still will not know what is coming week to week. Harbaugh's know for customizing his game plans to opponents weaknesses. Will he do the same in the NFL?
