Colin Kaepernick played a whopping 35 snaps last night in New Orleans. Unless the 49ers sign another quarterback soon, they will use the preseason to get Kaepernick as many “game-reps” as possible.

A pretty good run down of Kaepernick's up and down moments yesterday. Despite all the positive press I think we need to remember, we are talking about a rookie QB, coming into a new system. He will take time to mature like any of them do. That much was apparent from last night.
