SANTA CLARA — Colin Kaepernick spoke in the 49ers’ media tent Tuesday afternoon. Here’s what he said, courtesy of the 49ers.
Since WR A.J. Jenkins came back from his hamstring injury he’s been quite active, he looked pretty good …
Extra Point:\
Kaepernick may be even funnier than Harbaugh when it comes to not giving the media what they want. In this interview there are two sparring matches worth reading. The first, about who is at the facility early mornings to practice - and the second about what he learned from Peyton Manning. His answer that he is not competing with anyone to be the first person in is very telling though. Kaepernick really seems to mean it when he says he is doing this for himself, that he wants to get better for himself. You can tell though, he values hard work. He dribbles that theme throughout the entire interview.
