Josh Johnson says the 49ers’ starting QB is obvious



The 49ers have not talked to their four quarterbacks about the pecking order at the position. But newcomer Josh Johnson today said the player at the top of the depth…

Johnson was a smart pick up for the team. Not surprised that the depth chart has a clear number one in Alex Smith though. Johnson has the opportunity to compete for and win a roster spot. Where things go from there is still anybody's guess given the entire 49ers QB situation. How long will the team tolerate Smith if he under performs?
