SAN FRANCISCO — Joe Staley tried to explain to a group of reporters at his locker after the 48-3 demolition of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers just how the 49ers got so good so fast.

Staley had a huge game this week. He and Snyder both played very well. The whole team of course played well, but the offensive front, and defensive back field played extremely well. It set up a whole lot of other real solid play.
