LaMichael James, inactive for the 49ers' first three games before seeing action in Week 4 against the Rams, took to Twitter to express frustration over his limited role.

Here's what you don't understand. The two running backs ahead of you are better than you. It's possible the one drafted this year is better than you too - but he is injured, just like you were for a good chunk of the summer. If you want play time, earn it.
