Iupati had offseason surgery, likely to miss some OTAs



Add Mike Iupati to the list of 49ers who had surgery this offseason. The team’s All-Pro and Pro-Bowl left guard had a procedure on his shoulder and is unlikely…

Extra Point:

Iupati is a major contributor the 49ers offensive line, and his surgery likely means he will miss time in the organized team activities - but if it allows him to get fully healthy so he can play at 100% then it should not matter much. The line has plenty of experience working together and should gel quickly even if a few of the players need to miss some time early in the offseason.
