There is a great point in this article... one I articulated earlier, the 49ers offense is so unpredictable, a welcome change from years past, that defenses are often frozen or off balance. There's good reason for that. Two very versatile tight ends make a huge difference to this offense. The Niners should continue to invest in that. With time they will get some more help with the down field pass, but they have already taken some major steps this year.
