Extra Point:What's interesting is that this type of 'spread them out and run up the guy' or 'go heavy and run outside' is not revolutionary. The only reason the Packers shouldn't of adjusted is that it was uncharacteristic of the Niners. So what now? Expect the team to mix and match this as the season wears on so that opponents won't know of the Niners are coming or going. Big props to Smith for his ability to recognize where the running play should be going. That's not just being an expert in offense, it's great film study of the defense too!
