Smith has always bene prepared for competition. The guy has been a professional from that stand poitnt from the get go. Say what you will about his on field performance, but he has been a team player in the truist sense. Fair? no. Will he feel slighted? Yes. Is Hasselbeck even a better player? Maybe.
