NEW ORLEANS — At Monday’s Super Bowl press conference, the 49ers coach was asked a question from a reporter who obviously had known Harbaugh a long time.

“Do you still hold onto negative things as much now …

Talk about a vault. I think Harbaugh holds on to the negative to help motivate him... to fuel him. He's intensely competitive. But I also think there comes a time when it simply is not healthy to hold onto it.
