Harbaugh on the win: “A great character-builder for a young team.”

This is a portion of a syndicated post. Read the original at Inside the 49ers or scroll down the Extra Point.

Here’s the transcript of Jim Harbaugh’s postgame press conference in Philadelphia.

HARBAUGH: That was as good of a win as I can remember being a part of. Really proud of our players. They never flinched. There was no moment or …

Extra Point:
I am still not sure how the Niners pulled this one out... but I am happy they did. At 3-1 they are 2 games up in the NFC West, and have a real character building road trip behind them. The team is still making too many mistakes, and the defense has gotten lucky, and come up big a few times saving the 49ers and their record - but it is hard to take anything away from a team that just won two games on the road. It was not all pretty, but they got the job done. The offense clearly has sparks, and ability, maybe Harbaugh will finally unleash it... maybe it will finally gel, and maybe the line will protect like it did in the third quarter for the rest of the season. That's what all Niners fans are hoping for at this point. In the mean time, we can tip our hats to Gore, Hunter, Alex Smith, Aldon Smith, Reggie Smith, Dashon Goldson, Justin Smith, Ray MacDonald, Carlos Rogers, Josh Morgan, Vernon Davis, Navorro Bowman, Patrick Willis, and Delanie Walker for some great plays in this one. Did I miss anyone?
