SANTA CLARA – It was offensive coordinator Greg Roman’s turn to speak at the podium in the media tent this afternoon.

Roman’s style is to give a preamble before the questions start, which is fun.

Extra Point:
A very interesting interview - particularly about how Edwards is used. I wrote earlier that Harbaugh buries his starters in the depth chart. To some degree I think the planning on Edwards has something to do with that. I can see that it will change once games start to matter though. Same thing can be said about Goodwin. Finally we get confirmation that Roman will be the primary signal caller. Interesting.
