The entire 49ers defensive backfield was incredible, lead by Goldson who's hit was unreal. He says he "unloaded" that's an understatement. He became a cannon fired hot at Doucet. Whitner, Brown, and Culliver all had big plays too with CJ Spillman chiming in on special teams.

Joe Staley played recovering from pneumonia which had to have been a very difficult thing. I've had pneumonia and just moving is painful. I can't imagine what it would have been like to run.

Kilgore's early concussion on special teams is a concern. Hope he recovers quickly. Meanwhile Ted Ginn looked like a threat for the first time all season returning kicks. Ginn was also in on a key block in the running game. This was by far the quietest game of the season for Kyle Williams.
