Scott Tolzien had a sit-down with the 49ers’ rookie receivers and offensive linemen recently. His message: “This isn’t just the last preseason game before the regular season,” the quarterback…

Tolzien did something interesting in calling players together. He showed leadership. He showed that he can rally men around him. Every good quarterback needs that. At the same time, by selecting the 'right' individuals Tolzien showed that he knows his place and can get a long in a tight team. My bet is that he makes his roster.
