SANTA CLARA – Yesterday I asked the defense five questions. Today I asked Greg Roman and Alex Smith four questions. Here are their responses followed by my conclusions.

Extra Point:

I'm starting to feel that not choosing starting receivers is part of not showing tendency, and Harbaugh's overall strategy of revealing as little to opponents as possible. If the guys who start the game, are not even the best receivers on the team, it can be really deceptive to how defensive coordinators match up their defensive backs on the receivers. That being said, I'm excited to see the Niners line up Manningham, Crabtree, Moss and Jenkins, and split Davis in motion from the TE position. In that formation, the team will probably run Frank Gore :)
