Reports of Parys Haralson’s demise are greatly exaggerated. At least according to defensive coordinator Vic Fangio. Yes, Haralson has lost his starting job to second-year player Aldon Smith, inevitable…

Count me among the Haralson supporters. I think the team has 3 quality players at the position with Brooks and Smith being the other two. The rest of the competition is young and injured or recovering from injury. Haralson's cap number is large, but it won't be the first time that a 'backup' who contribute gets paid well.
