A great interview, and highlights why Mays was expendable by trade to the Bengals. The 49ers receive an undisclosed draft pick in return pending physical is ok on Mays. I think the Niners are still trying to figure out the cornerback situation, oddly, keeping Clements on a restructure may have been the ideal situation. Nevertheless, I expect the team will go heavy at safety on passing downs, and that could expose the team to the long ball over the top.
