I tend to agree that there are still receivers running open. To some degree the Giants exploited that this week. But the 49ers defense did shut them down when they needed to, and came up with key interceptions. The difference this week is the pass rush was not quite able to get to Manning before he got the ball away. Going forward the coverage needs to be tighter when matching up against a quarterback who has that much control of his arm.
