SANTA CLARA — The 49ers just sent out their depth chart for Saturday’s exhibition game against the Houston Texans, and there are some changes in the secondary.

Dashon Goldson is officially the starting free safety while Reggie Smith is injured. …

Extra Point:
Given Brown's starting history not too surprising that he'll be the first man off the bench - and potential starter across from Rogers. The Niners would not have brought Goldson back if they didn't think he would remain the starter. Culliver vs Brock is probably the biggest battle at this point.
