It's the final point that separates Eli "more willing to make throws". Alex is conservative with the ball. For whatever reason he chose not to make throws that could have changed the outcome of the game. This year, fans could get behind him at this level - because he was winning. Even if the defense is strong, he'll have to throw the ball more often next season - and the team will have to rely on him to offset turnovers, not just avoid them.
