Extra Point:Spencer's time may be over in SF, but his kindness to the team, his teammates and fans has been tremendous. I have been puzzled by his sudden drop off, but it is really hard to argue with the 49ers defensive performance. The lone exception to this may have been Spencer's ability to cover the real big bodies - and I'm surprised the team did not find a use for him taking on tight ends this season.
