According to Matt Maiocco, the 49ers have signed former Washington Redskins cornerback Carlos Rogers to a one-year deal.

At this point Rogers was probably the best option left at corner. Another 1 year deal, allows the player the opportunity to negotiate in a much longer offseason next year. Rogers will help the team this year, hopefully the 49ers can find another starter opposite him on their roster, because the NFC West has some solid receivers.
