Around draft day I obsreved the difference between the emphasis on character between the last 49ers Regime and this one. That seemed to be the only thing that mattered with the last crew. While the current regime values character as evidensed in this article they did not go for the purely character draftee until much later in the draft. Does that meaan guys like Smithand Kaepernick. Do not have character? Of coourse not, it is simply not the most dominant aspect of their player profiles.
