Can Smith throw deep? Let's run Vernon Davis down the middle of the field and find out. Davis was hit in stride, over the shoulder in the prior game, does no one remember him dropping that pass? The accusation of a poor throw to Crabtree is unfair. Smith stood in the pocket as long as he could and threw in to the oncoming offside pass rush - knowing the play was free. Hmm interception? gee wonder why.
