Extra Point:Good to hear Edwards is not injured (as @49ersParadise tweeted last night). Interesting that he seems so far out of shape though. An interesting take overall on the chemistry between Edwards and Smith. You do sort of feel like Edwards wants to be a leader on this team. Also of note - the idea that Alex Smith is basically living at headquarters. Does that sound like a man on a mission? I think he knows his future in the league depends on this year, and he'll do what it takes to prove he belongs. Only time will tell if it is _finally_ enough. Edwards also talks about how Vernon Davis dominates in the blocking game in a way Winslow didn't.
