The 49ers came away with a huge win, and sent a message to the entire the NFL ... they are for real, and can retain nearly any offense from exploding on them. The win required very tactical play as well as mental state - and knocked the Packers off at home - a feat that very few teams have managed to do lately. It also continues a trend in which the 49ers have success on the road. If there's one thing this 49ers team is, it's prepared - and that is ultimately how they beat the Packers. Big congratulations to David Akers on a NFL record tying field goal. Just outstanding play.
