The best line from Boone: "I got out and punch people" ... clearly the guy understands his job description. Boone commented on getting in and out of the huddle properly, but there were several instances where Kaepernick was slow through this process. At least twice the offensive line had to hurry him to get the snap off before the play clock expired, and there was one instance where he and Gore were trying to work out the protection package resulting in a delay of game. These things need to be tightened up. One of the advantages the 49ers have had with Smith in, is the time at the line of scrimmage to diagnose what the opponent is doing, and to change the play.
