Extra Point:This is an ongoing battle, that I believe is far from decided. Tolzien has the toughest time earning a spot on the club - but my money is on Johnson winning number 2, because his NFL experience would mean he could help the team win right away. Kaepernick remains a project, and if Smith is expected out for a long period of time (injury or otherwise), then Kaepernick may be given the reigns, but even in that situation, Johnson would have to show he can't perform on par with what Smith did last season - which was "this" close to being Super Bowl worthy.
