Back to Youngstown: Blue-collar 49ers to spend week in Ohio



Lots of Twitter questions about whether the 49ers will be spending next week in Youngstown, Ohio. The answer: Yes, yes, a million times, yes. Jim Harbaugh announced the decision…

Extra Point:

The 49ers clearly think it helps them to not waste time travelling back and forth between the west coast and east coast on back to back east coast road games. I love that the team came to this decision together, it helps bring the players on board to leaving their lives behind - and also is great from a team building stand point. This is what the Niners would have done back in the days of Eddie D. Treat players really well. Do what's best for the team. I'm eager to learn whether the trend catches on in the NFL, and eager to see if the Niners can put together back to back road wins again this year.
