SAN FRANCISCO – About a week and a half ago John Madden said on the radio that the NFL should discontinue Thursday night football games because they’re unfair for players. They don’t get enough rest between games, so the Thursday …

Extra Point:
As much as I like watching games on Thursday's, I happen to think the NFL should stick to Sundays and Mondays. The risk of injury, not letting the body heal, it just doesn't seem worth the reward. That being said, I would really like to see the numbers and stats on the effect of Thursday night games before taking a hard stand one way or the other.
