Aldon Smith sets 49ers’ sack record



Aldon Smith’s sack of Ryan Tannehill at the beginning of the second quarter gave him 18 ½ overall and put him in first place on the 49ers’ single-season sack list.…

Smith had yet another good game, recording 2 sacks, in the 49ers win over Miami. Smith continues to be on pace to set the NFL single season record for sacks. It still would require a monstrous close to the season - against some very difficult opponents. The 49ers win maintains their 2nd seed in the playoffs.
